It's old, it's unique, it's full of history, it has texture, extraordinary detail, it's handmade and it's the only one of its kind. This reversible vintage kantha stitched cushion in shades of red, yellow and burgundy will add the perfect finishing touch to round off a unique home with a touch of boho style.

This cushion is a unique one-off made from a hand printed and wax-resist dyed vintage kantha quilt in shades of burgundy, pink, yellow and red, with different patterns on each side. Combine with one of our other cushions made from the same fabric to complete your look with plenty of individual, unique character.

Our vintage kantha cushions are made from recycled cotton kantha quilts, which are traditionally made by hand stitching layers of recycled sari fabric. When the quilts are too old and damaged to be used as blankets they are made into cushions like this one. Each cushion is completely unique, with bags of character, history and captivating pattern. 

SIZE: 30cm x 50cm (12" x 20")

Choose one of our British wool or premium duck feather and down cushion inserts, or use with your own similar sized cushion insert (choose one slightly bigger to really fill it out).

International delivery includes duties and taxes so you shouldn't have to pay any extra to get your item.

Free international delivery applies for all orders over $60 / 60€. Standard delivery normally takes about 4-12 days from despatch, Express takes about 2-4 days. The courier we use depends on the size and service you choose.

Eco-Friendly

All our textiles are made using natural materials including cotton, linen, bamboo (and occasionally polyester recycled from post-consumer waste). You won't find any fabrics made from raw plastics such as polyester or acrylic, or made using toxic chemical processes such as viscose or acetates. Natural products not only feel better, they are also hypoallergenic, better for you and for the planet.

We send everything using minimal biodegradable plastic bags for protection and recyclable paper packaging.
