It's old, it's unique, it's full of history, it has texture, extraordinary detail, it's handmade and it's the only one of its kind. This one-off rectangular, reversible vintage kantha stitched cushion in shades of deep pink will add the perfect finishing touch to round off a unique home with a touch of boho style.

SIZE: 30cm x 50cm (12" x 20")

This cushion is a unique one-off made from a hand printed, fine stitched vintage kantha quilt with different patterns on each side and an invisible zip along one edge. Combine with one of our other cushions made from the same fabric to complete your look with plenty of individual, unique character.

Our vintage cushions are made from recycled cotton kantha quilts, which are traditionally made in India by hand stitching layers of recycled hand printed and hand dyed sari fabric together to use as blankets. When the quilts are too old and damaged to be used any more we make them into cushions like this one. Each cushion is completely unique, with bags of character, history and captivating hand printed pattern. 

Choose one of our British wool or premium duck feather and down cushion inserts, or use with your own similar sized cushion insert (choose one slightly bigger to really fill it out).

All our textiles are made using natural materials including cotton, linen, bamboo (and occasionally polyester recycled from post-consumer waste). You won't find any fabrics made from raw plastics such as polyester or acrylic, or made using toxic chemical processes such as viscose or acetates. Natural products not only feel better, they are also hypoallergenic, better for you and for the planet.

We send everything using minimal biodegradable plastic bags for protection and recyclable paper packaging.
