Large Vintage Kantha Quilt In Yellow and Beige

This colourful kantha quilt is completely unique, made from recycled cotton saree fabric hand stitched together by craftswomen in India to create this one-of-a-kind reversible throw for your bed or sofa. 

This kantha quilt has a bright yellow and orange pattern on one side and more muted  brown floral pattern on the other. It's made from three layers of vintage saris and because it has been relatively recently sewn together it's in great condition with few signs of age.

Use this colourful, versatile textile as a bedspread or a sofa throw, or even display it as wall art.

It is shown in the pictures draped over a UK Double bed size (US Full Size) but it will also fit a larger King size bed or a smaller bed if used lengthways.

This is a one-off, completely unique design, so when it's gone it's gone! It's a true vintage piece, so expect imperfections, patched details, marks and worn sections that reveal the layers below. We do our best to photograph all the details but remember that you are purchasing a unique, vintage textile piece that has been handmade and used in the past (and washed, obviously).
