This vintage kantha quilt packs a colourful punch with its bright contrast orange and blues. It is completely unique, handmade and authentic, made from several layers of recycled sarees, with superb fine stitching adding detail to the hand printed patterns.

Throw it over a sofa to add instant boho style, or as a bedcover to brighten up your bedroom with extra colour, or mount it as a wall hanging to show off the detailed pattern.

It is shown in the pictures draped over a UK Double bed size (US Full Size) but it will also fit a larger King size bed or a smaller bed if used lengthways.

Kantha quilts have been made for centuries by artisans in rural India. They are handmade from layers of recycled hand printed sarees which are hand stitched together to create a reversible, one of a kind blanket. This is a one-off, completely unique design, so when it's gone it's gone! It's a true vintage piece, so expect imperfections, patched details, marks and worn sections that reveal the layers below. We do our best to photograph all the details but remember that you are purchasing a unique, vintage textile piece that has been handmade and used in the past (and washed, obviously).
