This reversible handmade vintage kantha stitched cushion in shades of pastel pink and blue will add the perfect finishing touch to round off a unique home with a touch of boho style.

We have two virtually identical cushions made from a genuine vintage fine stitched kantha that was too damaged to be used as a throw, so we gave it a new life as beautifully textured cushions. They have different patterns on each side and an invisible zip so you can use it any way up.

We have other similar square cushions all made from the same kantha quilt fabric so they will coordinate beautifully as a pair or trio on your sofa or bed. See below for others. These cushions are authentically vintage, so expect worn texture, possibly some small marks and distressed areas made from years of use.

SIZE: 30cm x 50cm (12" x 20")

Choose one of our British wool or premium duck feather and down cushion inserts, or use with your own similar sized cushion insert (choose one slightly bigger to really fill it out).

Materials

Made from 100% recycled cotton kantha quilts.
Kantha fabric is a traditional Indian technique for hand sewing layers of recycled saris together to make bedcovers and throws. The saris are usually cotton, hand printed using wooden blocks with vibrant, complex patterns

All our textiles are made using natural materials including cotton, linen, bamboo (and occasionally polyester recycled from post-consumer waste). You won't find any fabrics made from raw plastics such as polyester or acrylic, or made using toxic chemical processes such as viscose or acetates. Natural products not only feel better, they are also hypoallergenic, better for you and for the planet.

We send everything using minimal biodegradable plastic bags for protection and recyclable paper packaging.

Id ordered some cushions and they were so beautifully made and really lovely fabric so e mailed Biggs & Hill and asked would they be able to make a huge cushion a beanbag!!? A very prompt reply came back….of course send sizes so i did and it arrived and was as perfectly made as cushions absolutely gorgeous! Great company to deal with!
